Wanda Wilburn, MD

Dr. Wilburn was raised in San Diego, California and after high school graduation went on to UCLA where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. 

Her passion for patient care kept her involved in volunteer community endeavors that exposed her to mentors who prompted her to stay focused on her initial dream… to become a physician.   Dr. Wilburn has done it all.. she worked as a phlebotomist for six years and became a physician assistant for the first twelve years of her career. 

At the age of 35, she decided to apply to medical school, which was successful, and eventually, she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology.   Her career has been well rounded, ranging from hospital governance, owning her own OB/Gyn practice, public speaking on Women’s Health topics and training many nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
