Choice medical group has an in-house Dermatology Lesion Clinic, treating a number of dermatologic disorders.
Zondree Scott, Physician Assistant with experience in general dermatology and dermatologic surgical procedures, joined the clinic to treat a number of dermatologic disorders:
Some are listed in this article:
Actinic keratosis, which is a very common skin lesion seen in dermatology. Ultraviolet light exposure is the most common cause of actinic keratosis. These lesions are commonly seen in sun-exposed skin areas.   Cryotherapy is the most-common treatment for actinic keratosis, which is liquid nitrogen applied to the lesion.
Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are the most common skin cancers. It is very important to use sunscreen and avoid the sun. Also protecting the skin from the sun with clothing is beneficial.
Melanoma is another skin cancer which has the potential to be lethal, therefore it is very important for early diagnosis and treatment.
We highly suggest Routine skin exams.  This can help detect actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
In our Dermatology-Lesion Clinic, Zondree Scott performs biopsies and excisions of lesions along with treating a variety of skin conditions:
