“I feel privileged because I am dedicated to a profession that is fascinating. I am proud to be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and to own my personal clinic. During my childhood, I was not aware, but I think I was born with an innate entrepreneurial spirit to take charge of my life and build my career, which at times can be risky. But I believe I chose the right path and with lot’s of success, I gained experience. I studied medicine at Guadalajara University School of Medicine, in Mexico. My lifelong interest in learning and my profession has led me to live in many countries where I have had the honor of working with the best doctors. I feel rejuvenated by going to church and praying, and I like to participate in community services and events. If I did not study medicine, I would have become a medical engineer. I am interested in the challenges of care coordination between providers and hospitals and the development of the Electronic Medical Records system. I have respect and compassion for patients, especially the senior population, whom I feel I can understand. I think being a doctor of internal medicine is special because I can approach each personal case with a unique medical vision and I have the opportunity to help.”
