What is a Medical Group (IPA)?
A medical group is a network of doctors that contract with health plans, instead of one doctor having to contract with multiple health plans on their own if they are part of a medical group they can now accept all health plans the medical group is contracted with.

Dr. Manmohan Nayyar, M.D. completed his residency in Neurology at New York Medical College before moving to Apple Valley in 1986. He has practiced neurology for over 30 years and received numerous awards from The American Academy of Neurology. He served as a founding member of AINA (Association of Indian Neurologists In America). He set up the Life Time achievement award for AINA through AAN while her served as past president of AINA. He was also designated a Fellow with the American Academy of Neurology. Fellow status acknowledges exemplary work and achievements in the neurosciences, the clinical practice of neurology or academic/administrative neurology, in the AAN, and in the community.
He has been very dedicated and instrumental in improving medical care and access in the High Desert. His passion is proving quality care to the citizens in the High Desert. He was one of the original founders and serves as the President of Choice Medical Group/Choice Physician Network/Horizon Valley Medical Group.
